++About our guest teacher:++

Denzil Bailey began dancing at the age of 17, attending a weekly jazz class held in a church hall in Cricklewood. Recognising his potential, his teacher encouraged him to study ballet, leading him to enrol at the London School of Classical Dance. After three years of training, Denzil was selected to join the internationally acclaimed English National Ballet. He spent a decade with the company, performing extensively and touring worldwide. Following his time with the company, Denzil worked as a freelance dancer while also raising his son, Jacob. During this period, he was approached by Cassa Pancho, who was researching the underrepresentation of Black dancers in classical ballet for her dissertation. Together, they co-founded Ballet Black, which has since become one of the most respected ballet companies in the UK. As Ballet Black grew, Denzil received increasing requests to teach. What began unexpectedly developed into what he describes as his “dream job.” Today, he teaches regular open ballet classes across London and works with a range of leading dance companies, including Rambert, Random, Neo Ballet, Tavaziva, Skanes Danse, and Ballet Black.

- If you are unable to attend, a credit may be offered only if the workshop is fully booked and your place can be filled by someone on the waiting list. Please note that this cannot be guaranteed.

- Bookings are personal and non-transferable. Your place is reserved under your name and cannot be resold or transferred to another participant.

Our weekly Ballet classes are ideal for young kids who love twirling & glitter. These classes are full of fun, magic & sparkle and will enable young dancers to discover the wonderful world of ballet. These classes also encourage the musicality and  
the confidence of the aspiring dancers. The Ballet Bébé classes are a great way to bond and spend time dancing with your child!
